Our self talk, are we kind to ourselves?

Kindness is a big thing at the moment, at least in New Zealand we have been encouraged to be kind to each other, maybe even to the system, as we navigated our way through lockdown, but are we kind to ourselves?

Those words we say to ourselves, would we be comfortable saying them to anyone else. Are they kind? Do they encourage us, or discourage us. If not, feel free to rewrite the script, you are allowed to, you can be kind, compassionate, curious, encouraging about what happened, what you did, and apart from feeling better, you are more likely to change what happens around you, just by being kind to yourself.

If you can be kind to yourself, then kindness pours out onto those around you, it becomes a lifestyle.
