Sometimes my job is simply
To hold hope
To anchor the sense
That there is always
An alternative story
A story of hope
Yet to hold hope
Means entering into
Another's hopelessness
Allowing it to be heard,
But not letting it Have the final word
That overlooked,
Discarded by problems
Silenced by the problem's spin
Hope sits waiting
Sparkling moments of wellbeing
Patiently, yet persistently
Waiting to be discovered.
